The Fiscal Department performs the following major functions:
Treasury Management
The Fiscal Department handles all funds received such as tenant rents, government subsidies, grants and other receipts. The Department invests Agency funds in accordance with established guidelines and safeguards the Agency’s assets. The Department handles all Vendor payables, Employee Payroll and Housing Voucher payments to Section 8 landlords.
General Accounting
The Department handles all vendor payables, employee payroll and Housing Voucher payments to landlords. Current annual housing assistance payments to participating landlords exceed $30 million annually.
Financial Reporting & Audits
The Department prepares, reports and communicates information on the performance of financial operations and the flow of funds associated with the various and diversified programs the Agency administers. The department manages annual independent audits and various other governmental financial audits.
