Associate Leasing Officer
 
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Leased Housing and Operations Departments in processing data related to initial certification of applicants for the leased housing and public housing programs.  Incumbent will assist in wait list management, scheduling and the recertification of current participants in the leased housing and public housing programs, as well as initial lease up and file packaging for public housing.  The Associate Leasing Officer will provide assistance to various departments as needed and assigned. All activities must support the Cambridge Housing Authority’s (“CHA” or “Authority”) strategic goals and objectives and produce results that accomplish the goals of the Leased Housing Department.

Pay Grade 5-Salary: $ 21.32/hr

Area Maintenance Supervisor

The Cambridge Housing Authority seeks qualified applicants for the above position within the Operations Department of the Cambridge Housing Authority. The primary purpose of this position is to organize and supervise daily maintenance operations and train employees engaged in unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled work assignments. The area maintenance supervisor will be responsible for a specific geographical area within the city and will meet with managers in that area to assist with maintenance issues and property projects on a predetermined schedule. The supervisor is expected to have a vision for the upkeep of the buildings and grounds within his/her area which includes a well thought out and effective use of manpower and time management, and must work with property managers to share this vision. Must be available for emergencies during regular business hours, after hours, and weekends, including: snow, flooding, building system failures, etc.

Housing Manager's Aide I  

The Cambridge Housing Authority seeks qualified applicants for the above position within the Operations Department of the Cambridge Housing Authority. The incumbent in this position will be trained to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties that will support the operation of a housing development in accordance with established Agency policies and procedures. Responsibilities will include assistance with unit inspections, completion of rent recertification’s, managing work orders, and maintenance of files and records. The Housing Manager’s Aid will also have responsibility for all office clerical functions, including reports and correspondence, purchasing and small special projects. Good organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word will be necessary. A Bachelor's Degree preferred. Public sector experience helpful.
