Bridge-to-College Program

Operated in collaboration with the Cambridge Community Learning Center, the Bridge-to-College Program (BTC) provides individual counseling and classroom instruction to ten high school graduates and GED-holders who are not academically prepared for college level coursework. Thanks to a commitment from a private foundation, CHA developed a scholarship program that assists (mostly working) adult graduates of the BTC program to complete their college education despite the significant financial and logistical difficulties inherent in doing so. Every BTC graduate who matriculates at, and remains enrolled in two- or four-year colleges receives a $1,000 scholarship.
