The Communications and Policy Department supports CHA’s mission by monitoring and reporting on the Agency’s performance to regulators, policy makers, community members, the media, the Board of Commissioners and Agency staff. The department also plays a key role in the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of program and policy reforms.
The Department accomplishes this by developing and disseminating all internal and external reports including the MTW Annual Plan and Report, Board of Commissioners Monthly Report, regular policy impact analyses and newsletters for policy makers, participants and other stakeholders.
