The Legal Department staff attorney and support staff advises and represents the Operations Department in matters involving enforcement of CHA’s lease, including grievance hearings and Summary Process cases. The Legal Department is responsible for drafting and implementing a variety of policies and procedures including CHA’s Section 504/Reasonable Accommodations, Limited English Proficiency, the Violence Against Women Act, and CHA’s Sexual Harassment policy. The Legal Department is also responsible for responding to requests for public information not available online.
