The Single Room OccupancyProgram, frequently referred to as the SRO Program is a subsidized housing program open to individuals earning up to 50% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for Cambridge. 

The SRO Program helps participants live in shared housing with other SRO participants.  SROs are single rooms for one person with a lock and key.  In most SRO developments, tenants share kitchens and bathrooms.  Some developments offer highly independent living, while others are supervised.
